Hello there! So glad you have joined me on The<\/em> Road Less Traveled & Other Stories <\/em>Blog. <\/em>This is my first post. My name is\u00a0Christina Ryan Claypool. I am a lover of God, author of books, speaker of truth, at least truth as I see it, and a freelance journalist.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Being a Ragamuffin in lifelong recovery, a term which I humbly borrow from Ragamuffin leader, Brennan Manning; I have spent most of my life on The Road Less Traveled<\/em>, a title credited to\u00a0poet, Robert Frost, &\u00a0psychiatrist, Dr. M. Scott Peck.<\/p>\n

Whatever I write about, I hope that you will see my faith in God, love for community, and deep admiration for fellow ragamuffins, peeking through. My greatest inspiration is the people who have overcome heartbreaking circumstances, tremendous odds, or crushing adversity to help others. On a lighter note, I have a deep-seated belief that a little chocolate makes the day brighter, and that coffee really is good for your health.<\/p>\n

To begin this blog, I would like to share a quote from Robert Frost’s poem, The Road Not Taken<\/em>. Although it’s a classic, it is always good to be reminded that one will find life’s most interesting treasures in remote places off the beaten path.<\/p>\n
