About Christina Ryan Claypool

Christina Ryan Claypool is an Ohio Associated Press Media Editors’ award-winning newspaper columnist, former TV reporter/host, and an Inspirational/Christian speaker. She is a four-time Chicken Soup for the Soul contributor, and a past First place National Amy Writing Awards winner. She has been featured on Joyce Meyer’s Enjoying Everyday Life TV show, and CBN’s 700 Club.

Her latest book, “Secrets of the Pastor’s Wife: A Novel” is now available on all major online outlets and has been endorsed for use for Women’s Inspirational/Christian book clubs. Entertaining and inspiring fiction, the compelling storyline will encourage emotional healing, forgiveness, and restored faith. Christina is also the author of two Christian recovery books: Seeds of Hope for Survivors for everyone who has been brokenhearted, addicted, or a victim and Forgiven.

She has hosted TV specials and spoken at many churches, civic groups, prisons, women’s conferences, and banquets. Although her own story was once heartbreaking, she now believes each day is a gift after surviving an almost fatal suicide attempt as a young woman. Christina shares on numerous topics to empower others to “Be the Best they can Be” through God’s miraculous grace. She has a B.A. in Business Administration from Bluffton University, and earned a Master of Arts in Ministry from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

She is married to an Ohio Public School supervisor whom she affectionately refers to as “Mr. Rules” and has an adult son, Zach, who successfully survived the helicoptering years.
